Privacy Policy

• License purchase: your email address and payment details, handled entirely by Stripe — TileSnap never sees or stores your card number. We store your email, a one-way hash of your license key (not the key itself), the license status, and your Stripe reference.
• Device activations: a random device ID (not tied to any personal hardware identifier) and a device label you can set yourself, so the 3-device limit works and you can see/reset your own devices.
• Website analytics: page views, country, browser, operating system, and page-load performance, via Cloudflare Web Analytics — a cookie-less measurement tool that doesn't identify individual visitors or track them across sessions.
• Installer downloads: a simple counter of how many times each app version was downloaded. No IP address or visitor identity is stored alongside it.

The TileSnap Windows app itself never uploads your screenshots anywhere. Captures stay on your device; only the license-check calls described above talk to our servers.

We don't sell or share your data with anyone else, and we don't run advertising or marketing trackers on this site.

The public site (tilesnap.app, this page, the Help page) sets no cookies of its own. Web Analytics is cookie-less by design. The only cookie in play is a Cloudflare Access login cookie on the internal admin panel, which only Ruben ever sees.

You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete your license and activation records, by emailing license@tilesnap.app. We keep license and activation records for as long as your license is active, so we can help with support and refunds; deleting them ends the ability to validate that license.
